Olga Georgiades has been a Member of the Cyprus Bar Association since 2001.

She is a corporate lawyer, specialising in Corporate / Company Law, European Law in all aspects, Information Technology Law, Commercial Law,
Contract Law, Competition Law, Mergers and Acquisitions. She is engaged in extensive legal research, participates in EU projects and helps businesses
and individuals to obtain funding. She also provides advice on how lawyers and their clients, businesses and individuals can seek protection from the European
Court of Justice (ECJ) through Cyprus Courts or directly. Additionally, she prepares and files complaints before the European Commission for infringement
of EU law by public bodies/government.

She has been involved in many research projects on the current status of harmonisation of Cyprus law with EU law, mainly on energy law, consumer law, IT law
and data protection law matters. She has authored over 30 publications in the area of company law, IT law, data protection, consumer protection and sale of goods,
mergers and acquisitions and many more. She gained experience working in law firms in Nicosia, Cyprus and at the European Commission, Brussels.

She graduated from the University of East Anglia, UK and holds a degree in English Law & French Law as well as a Master’s degree (LLM) in Mergers & Acquisitions,
Competition, European Law and Telecoms Law from University College London (UCL).  She is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Central Lancashire, UK
and her field of study of “Access of private litigants (companies and persons) to Justice in Europe post Lisbon – comparison between Cyprus, Poland and Czech Republic.”
She holds a Diploma of French Judicial Studies from Université Robert Schuman (Strasbourg III) and a Diploma for Teaching Law at University Level from UCL.
